If you cat has pancreatic diabetes, you must always have glucose, sweet syrup or honey in case when animal gets an excess dose of insulin. At the first signs that sugar in blood is depressed (cat feels weaknes, lose orientation, convulsions or coma are present), inject a liquid glucose in the cat's mouth. If the cat has convulsions, raise her lips and drift glucose on gums.

As described symptoms can be only the beginning of crisis, connected with low content of sugar in blood, immediately go to the doctor who, probably, will do intravenous injection of glucose.

If your cat begins to drink much, lose her weight at the same norm of feeding, she has a depression, that means that animal feel the lack of insulin in blood what is evidence of sins of falling sick with diabetes. At such symptoms as vomit, sweet (with fruit aroma) smell by breathing and coma, your cat has acute form of diabetic crisis, abd you need to bring her to the vet immediately.

If you forgot to give insulin and one of above-listed sympoms is observed, you need to give her usual dose of insulin immediately and got ot the vet for the further precepts.

Remember: diabetes belongs to the most serious diseases and in the absence of treatment can lead to coma and fast lethal outcome.
