Domestic medicine chest for cat

Tools:

• medical scissors
• biological (anatomic) pincers (pincers with blunt tips).

Dressing material:

• gauze compresses(napkins) of little and big size
• gauze bandages of different sizes
• court plaster
• cotton wool.

Medicaments:

• solution of sodium chloride (salt); you can prepare it by yourself, dissolving 1 tea-spoon in 1 litre of boiled water
• vaseline
• antibiotics in powder-like state and in state of ointments
• activated carbon against diarrhea
• solution of hydrogen peroxide for management of wounds (1%-1,5%).

Other things:

• disinfection remedies (attention: iodin and compound of iodin, and also phenols and their derivatives are poison for cats!)
• tourniquet (elastic bandage)
• clinical thermometer
• addresses and telephones of veterinary hospitals, vets and chemist's shops.
