Persian cat: vaccinations

Persian cat vaccinations

The most widespread scheme of vaccinations is the next:

1. At the age of 1,5 and 2 months - antihelminthic medication (Drontal, Phebtal, Kaniquantal)

2. At the age of 2,5 months - vaccination against bug (Nobivac, Multifel, Felovax)

3. In 3 weeks - revaccination by the same medication or at the same time with rabies (Nobivac-R, Quadriket)

4. If the vaccination from rabies wasn't done, in other 3 days vaccination against rabies (Nobivac rabies or domestic vaccine Rabican)

Vaccinations against herpes are recommended only in nurseries, having a risk of illness, as preventive measure they didn't show any opulence (though there can be different opinions).

Vaccinations against herpes exist - Vackderm, Microderm, Mikanis, Trimivac, Polivac, that are pricked twice with the interval in 10 days. It should remember that interval between vaccinations against different illnesses must be not less 3 weeks.

You can do the vaccinations against bug and herpes in privat doctors, but vaccination against rabies can be done necessarily ONLY in state clinic.
